i remember a local boy here recently extolling the virtues of the 616 on the AK. well thanks alot. :P i was hoping to get a pair for a reasonable price, but now not so likely. before this i saw them running > 150 a pair

I would say that the value in this particular auction was in the Peerless gear on the back.....

I would agree that there's at least a hundred bucks worth of transformer hanging on those.
